I sat on a rug, biding my time drinking her wine. We talked until two, and then she said it`s time for bed. [repeat 1st measure] She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh. I told her I didn`t and crawled off to sleep in the bath. And, when I awoke, I was alone this bird had flown. So, I lit a fire, isn`t it good Norwegian wood. [repeat 1st measure] notes: 1. Spacing doesn`t indicate timing - I just lined the tab up with the lyrics. 2. Chords are tabbed for their first beat only. The D chord is strummed down, up, down. Note the hammer-on at the end of each measure. 3. Holding the D chord, use your pinky for 3rd fret notes and index finger for 1st fret notes, middle finger for 3rd fret on the A string. 4. Have an accompanist play along without a capo: E D E D [bridge] Em A Em A B --mxrangnjfumchebcqtfmbcrosshkmp-- ============================================================================= From: rh34+@andrew.cmu.edu (Robert R.
