Here's one Blue Rodeo tune that I have been playing for a while. I haven't Seen it posted here or in the Nevada archive. It is a vintage Jim Cuddy love Ballad. I hope everything is clear (I'm a virgin poster).
NOTE: When playing the Esus in the intro and throughout, hammer the A note (on the G String). I tried to indicate that with an "h" in the Intro TAB. Just email Me if anyone needs help deciphering.
HOUSE OF DREAMS by Blue Rodeo
B B A A E Esus E E Esus E F#m ...
Can't stand the sight of myself E Esus E Esus E Lying in bed all day with the curtains drawn (as in intro) Staring at the clock on the window ledge E Esus E Esus E The angry words you said come back so strong
Bridge
Sometimes love quits, Oh, when the pieces don't fit And suddenly all your world falls to the floor Then all your wild days all fall away You can't see much point in them anymore
Chorus
In this house of dreams I let you walk like a ghost unseen Girl on the day you left B A E Esus E Esus E Out walked my everything ...
I must have thought you'd always be here I never even noticed when the changes came one day Seems one minute you were standing close I turned around again and girl you were far away
Bridge
And every plan we made, I just let them fade And pile up on the floor beside the bed Now you're gone away but your memory stays I sit here thinking of the things I never said
Chorus
INSTRUMENTAL (play chords from the verse)
Bridge
Sometimes love quits when the pieces don't fit And suddenly all your world falls to the floor Now you're gone away, but your memory stays I hear your voice behind every single door
Chorus
... everything ...
