>From the CD Razorblade Suitcase on Trauma Records I assume the words and music are by Gavin Rossdale and Nigel Pulsford I saw them play this song on SNL last week, so this is pretty close to Exactly how they do it
I haven't even seen the version of this in Guitar World, so I guess it could Be a wee bit different from that
KEY: (V) - do a little vibrato baby! / - slide up - slide down * - play me muted

Begins with Gavin doing this little strum thing using these chords (So you can call this the verse)

Anyhow you do that four times and then launch into the chorus The guitar's on a whole bunch of loud distortion, POUND THEM STRINGS DAMMIT!

Meanwhile back at the fort Nigel is playing some little whiny thing over Those chords that goes something like this...he uses at least a little Wah-wah effect
Then it goes into a quiet part and I guess Gavin just hits the roots of the Intro chords...
Plays that a couple times then says uh . . . "Just wanna be myself" Stops playing while bass plays on Then he goes "He said you would love to try some" and plays
He says something and does that again, then goes into the chorus After that you get a little Jimmy Page mixed with Tom Sholes riff from Nigel BUT FIRST! Gavin does this gradual bend with a pained look on his face
Then the riff...
Oh yeah and Gavin is playing these back and forth under Nigel:

Then Nigel slides down I guess... And the verse part starts up again, and they turn up the bass for part of it
Then it's back to the chorus! They go to the riff part again, this time with Gavin singing over it and Nigel kind of mixes a part of the riff with what he plays during the normal

Then everything just kind of calms down and Gavin hits a couple notes in the Verse chords and it ends with him playing this over and over:

These are the corrections to the song Swallowed, the other tab was quite a ways Off. Here is my rendition. This is my first tab. Douse with Distortion! Repeat a few times. This is the next part where Gavin sings "Swallowed, Followed." Gavin and Nigel use an effect that mixes a flanger and distortion. Thats what gives it that neat "wohhhohhoh" sound.

I saw this tabbed out by Marc Zeitlin <[email protected]>, but it Was wrong. Except for the chorus, which I simplified down to power Chords. My tab also has a first guitar part, which is actually what Most of this file is.
