Maybe that's why it's So inconsistent about who 'you' refers to - the ex-girlfriend's new lover In the 1st and 3rd verses vs. the ex-girlfriend herself in the chorus, 2nd Verse, and bridge. It's one of my Hollies faveraves anyway.
