This is actually my favorite song from this album, so it`s a pleasure to tab it! First you have to tune down your guitar to:

2nd time you do.. -x--5-3b--| ..in the end
Verse
And then to the chorus!!
After the 2nd time you play the chorus it comes a kinda silence where you play the E chord and after that it goes:
It also goes this way in the end!

I think this is one of the easiest Metallica songs I`ve heard. This is the first song I`ve attempted to tab out, so bear with me, Although I think it`s just about right. There is some harmonizing during the chorus, but I`m way too lazy to figure it out. All strings are tuned down a half step.

Here is my interpretation of the song: WASTING MY HATE (from Load) by Metallica
It becomes much easier if you CAPO at 1st fret on drop-d tuning (or perhaps tune up half a step). It will also sound ok without capo (if you don`t play with recording ;))
Tuning for this tab: D#(E# droped down 2 half steps), A#, D#, G#, C ,E#
Intro riff (Ididn`t tab the slides) & chrous riff(with dist.)
Riff A: (2x) Riff B: (also put some mufled tones) then play A riff PM PM PM PM
Riff C: (main singing part) Riff D: PM
Variation of the chorus riff: ("...no more waste my hate on you")
Varioation of D riff at the end: (play it then put - - 8 8 6 - and muffle strings
before chorus riff: ("...for myself...")
